I currently purchased a 3 pack of the VMC2030 (Called VMC2330 for some reason as its a 3pack?) Essential Spotlight Cameras. I am trying to add them to my arlo account, but it is not working at all.
I previously added one, same model, along with my Doorbell, which are both working fine, but these 3 are not connecting at all.
The blue light flashes, I hear the chime and it tries to "Search" for the device via the app, but it doesnt ever find it. The cameras always seem to turn off (Blue light stops flashing midway). These are all fully charged, have charged them overnight. They just dont seem to connect. I am doing the exact same steps as what I did for the 1st camera, but none of these 3 seem to work.
Ive modified my wifi settings to remove any smart connections, updated router firmware and disable the 5GHz. (Didnt have to do any of this to the first one).
Has anyone else had issues with connecting these cameras?

Have you checked the router's attached device list, and see if the cameras managed to connect to the wifi network. (Odds are they did, but it is useful to know for sure).
You could also try using a PC to add the camera (my.arlo.com). That sometimes will work when the app fails.

I have looked through the devices and it doesn't show up. The one i connected at first shows up but these new ones don't.
I've tried PC/App about 10 times each now, I'm stumped on why it can't find it when the first one worked perfectly. They are the same model.
Also whenever I scan the QR Code and it Chimes the blue LED stops flashing after like 30 seconds, it feels like it's trying to connect but doesn't. If I turn the camera back on again when it switches off, it'll keep going until the fast amber flashes.
Is there a hard wired way to connect these?
Just to confirm with factory resetting, holding the Sync button until 3 Ambers flash, are there meant to be anymore lights after to confirm the completion of the reset or do I just turn it back on after and go from there?

After it flashes amber, you proceed with the install.
Another thing you could try is simplifying the network name and password (removing special characters, spaces, and punctuation). There has been an issue with this over the years - firmware updates should have taken care of it, but you could easily have purchased older inventory.
