Essential spotlight camera - can I take it with me when I travel?

Quick question - When we travel with our pet and stay in a hotel, VRBO etc.  Can I take the essential spotlight camera with us and connect it to the wifi at the property.  Then when we leave will I still be able to use my mobile device to check the camera when we are out and about?  I think I might be over thinking this.

It may work in specific locations but only if there's no login to the network like hotels use. You can connect to the SSID using the normal password but further logins for access would be the issue. You could use your phone to create a hotspot for those places that use a login.
