I would like to use the camera inside a bird house. I made a shelf above the nesting area, with a 1.5” diameter hole through which the camera can see. When I turn the camera on it very briefly shows the nesting area then starts clicking repeatedly, and the image alternates between black and white, with no photo of the birdhouse. The camera works fine when not mounted in the birdhouse. Does the cameraI need a bigger hole to look through? I drilled the hole big enough so that the center lens and the spotlight both have clear views but perhaps some other sensor is being blocked? Thank you for any help, Max

The camera thinks it is dark, and is switching to Nightvision mode.

I don't know where the sensor is that is responsible for this decision, but it is clear you will need to get light onto it.

Maybe try putting a piece black tape over parts of the camera face, and see if you can find the sensor that way.
