Charging issue

I’m charging but the light remains on. It is taking forever and keeps defaulting back to a no-charge icon (has the lightning thru when first beginning). Any ideas?  How do I turn the spotlight off while charging? I’ve deselected but stays on?

Since the spotlight will not turn off, can you please try resetting the camera and then adding it back to the account.

After resetting the camera, try to charge the camera.
