I am not able to add/connect new Arlo essential camera to my Android mobile app. I followed al instructions and troubleshooting points. I have mesh network inside home and it supports both 2.4 and 5Ghz frequencies. There was a chime sound from the camera when I showed to the QR code on app. Interestingly I can see both cameras connected to the network through my wifi router app. Still the mobile ap couldn't recognize it/ connect it to it.
Let me know how to proceed to connect a camera in mesh network. please note that I also tried to create a exclusing 2.4ghz network and connect both mobile and camera to it. but still it doesnt work. note that I am not connected to VPN on my mobile.
PS: I have Nokia Wifi Beacon at home mesh network https://www.nokia.com/networks/fixed-networks/home-wi-fi/

One thing that often works is to try onboarding again using a PC (browsing to my.arlo.com).

The laptop and phone need to be connected to the same network to which you want to connect the camera - so your home wifi.
You could try turning on airplane mode in the phone, and then enabling wifi to your router. Disable any VPN software. Then try onboarding again on the phone.
If the laptop has an ethernet port, then you can also try connecting it via ethernet to your router. Disable any VPN software (and I suggest disabling any internet security software as well).
Note that
- the network needs to use WPA2 (AES) security.
- special characters (punctuation) in the network name or password might need to be removed.
