Cameras 3 of 5 cameras recording

Hi, I’m trying to figure out why not all my cameras will record. I have 5 cameras and only 3 of them record and pick up motion. I don’t have hub or base is that a problem? How do I get them all to work the same? I have the Arlo essential wireless cameras.

Are all 5 cameras covered by a subscription plan (either paid or trial)?

No only the 3 are. Do I have to have a subscription on all

of them?!

 Essentials require a subscription for cloud storage (as do all the newer cameras).  So yes.
