Camera not found. But camera is present in Google Home app.
Arlo secure app  recognize the code from camera. (Ping)
I can ping the IP-address of the camera.
What can be the problem.

Phone used running 2.4 GHz

When I made a test again after I have reconnected to my Google Mesh system it worked!

I do not know why.

Thank you for your help.

Crille3,

Which model Essential camera are you trying to sync? You can find this on the bottom of the box starting with "VMCXXXX"

At what point during onboarding do you experience an issue? Do you see any error messages in the app?

VMC2030-100EUS

After App has accepting the kod it starts to search for cameras.
After some minutes I get the message: No camera found.

Crille3,

Try factory resetting following the instructions here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062438/How-do-I-factory-reset-and-re-sync-my-Arlo-camera

Factory resetting did not help.
I noticed a text at Arlo web telling that I might have to disable or rename SSID for 5GHz band in my Google Mash router.
I have asked Google support how to do this but not received any answer.
Tomorrow I will test the camera in my summer house with a ordinary router.

If you are using the app, then also try onboarding using a PC (my.arlo.com).  That sometimes works when the app fails.

Also, if you can try setting up the test router with the same network name and password as you use with the mesh.  Then if onboarding succeeds, the camera should just connect to the mesh when you bring it back home.

A similar idea is to set up a hotspot on your phone that uses the same network name/password.   Then shut down the mesh, and on-board using the hotspot.  Afterwards just shut down the hotspot and turn the mesh back on.

I powered of my Mesh router.

I made my mobile a hotspot using the same SSID and password.

I made the camera recognize the kod in "https://my.arlo.com/" on my windows laptop.

Still: Camera not found!
Did the same after reset the camera. (15 sec).

Changed Security to Open. Before WPA2 PSK.

I put the camera 2 meters away from the laptop

Laptop and mobile running on 2,4GHz

Still: Camera not found!

I hardly think the camera is physically faulty.
