Hi all..I’m wondering firstly if anyone knows what voltage and amperage the essentials spotlight camera solar panels? I believe from the information available a 5v 2amp charger is needed to pair with the provided mini USB cable..but can’t find any info on the solar panel specs…would it be the same or similar..I have 3 5v 2.3 amp solar panels I’m considering trying… I know Uniden have a 2.3 and 3.something 5v options for their 1080p spotlight cameras so I’m not sure if that correlates to arlo cameras being able to handle those currents or not…thanks you in advance for any advice..cheers steve

The Arlo panels are trickle chargers. I can't speak for voltage or current capabilities but since the charger uses 5v, a 5v panel should work. If your panels really put out that current, it may charge like the AC adapter (with strong sunlight, of course). The current output capability of the panels has no bearing since that's just what the panel is capable of, not what the camera draws.

as PS

IIRC, the pro/pro2 solar panels put out a hair above 6v... sort of 6.1v but at low current
