Arlo essential not recording unless armed? Help! This is driving me insane!

I  adding the Arlo hub monitored security system to my home so now I have the hub. I’ve also added the door sensors. Those all work great as does my doorbell that I had prior.  BUT my indoor garage camera and outdoor essential camera, however no longer provides any type of notification or records any activity unless the dang alarm is armed!  I know there’s a lot of feeds about this being a common issue, but I don’t see a current solution?!! Why is this a problem I need help it seems silly that this is an issue?  Help I need a solution!  #essential wireless

The security system works in conjunction with the cameras so if the security hub is in a disarmed state, the whole system is disarmed. That's expected behavior.

You can modify Standby so it keeps those cameras armed.
