Arlo Essential with VMS3130

I try to connect my new Essential cameras to my old system Arlo Security System VMS3130 but it dosent work.

Is there an another basstation smarthub I need ?

Not sure what base you have.  The Essentials can connect with the VMB4000 or later,  but not with the VMB3xxx bases.  https://kb.arlo.com/000062284/What-is-the-difference-between-each-Arlo-SmartHub-and-base-station

 

But if you don't have a compatible base, you could connect the cameras directly to your home wifi.
