I bought an essential wire-free video doorbell with chime and cannot install it. I could install chime but not the doorbell. It is not found by my wifi 2.4 Ghz.
I use an iPhone.
I already have a base hub with two cameras, but the new doorbell does not work with the hub either.
I tried everything I found on the net but am stuck.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

The wireless doorbell must connect to WiFi first to potentially update firmware that allows a connection to your hub. Thus, regardless of what you pick, WiFi connection is needed first.
WHat have you tried and what do you see? Have you tried the reset procedure?

Thank you jpguerdat,
I have tried to link the doorbell to wifi first, didn't work.
I tried to link to the hub, didn't work.
I did a reset and tried everything again, no success.
Then I tried with the chime to check the wifi and it worked for the chime.
But not with the doorbell.
When I tried with the hub it did say it had to update the firmware, but nothing happened.

When you reset the doorbell did you hold the button for as long as directed?
WHat kind of network do you have, just a normal router or a mesh network?

Yes I did the reset until I got feedback.
I have a normal router.

Since it's possible the doorbell is faulty, swapping at the store is the fastest way. Otherwise, use Settings, Support (old user interface the shows Mode, Devices, Library at the bottom) or Settings ("person" icon at the top left), Support Center to click on a device that has a subscription to reach official support.
