My Arlo essential spotlight camera receives a motion detection alarm but video does not show in library. The model is a VMC2030-100CNC, firmware = 1.080.23.3_26_15c46408, Hardware = H6. In the "armed" edit mode on this camera the "Record video is shaded and not allowed to use this option? My other two cameras (Pro 2) work perfectly, firmware 1.092.0.29_57_8bc7ce9, Hardware H15 on both cameras.

All I want is that my video recordings show in my library.

And, once again, that requires a subscription.  https://kb.arlo.com/000062312/What-options-will-I-have-when-the-Arlo-Smart-3-month-trial-plan-ends

Or alternatively, you can connect the camera to a Smarthub Base (VMB4540 or VMB5000) and enable direct access to local storage. https://kb.arlo.com/000062337/What-is-Direct-Storage-Access-and-how-do-I-use-it  There are several limitations to direct access - personally I've found cloud storage to be superior.

Does the camera have a paid or trial subscription?

Yes, a trial subscription and did not apply.

Not sure what you mean by "did not apply".  But cloud storage requires a subscription.

I meant did not subscribe (apply) after the 3 month trial. All I want is that my video recordings show in my library. I only get the motion detection notification but no video in my library to view.

Works fine on both USB ports. But I would have liked to have directly to my library without having to pay for a subscription! If I knew, I wouldn’t have bought the essential. Now I have to view video motion through the USB.
