I have the original Arlo camera. Will the original base station work with the new spotlight camera?

1)  What cameras will function with the original base station?

2)  Is there a way to replace batteries and use an 110v  to power the new spotlight camera?

Hi.. Essential Spotlight Camera is compatible with VMB4000, 4500, 4540 and 5000 base stations / SmartHubs. You can alternatively connect the camera directly to your home WiFi network (2.4 GHz), without requiring a base station.
