How does the storage work?

After the 3-Month trial of Arlo Smart has expired, and not paired with Smarthub or a Base Station.

When connected directly to your home WiFi network, Essential Spotlight Camera does not have any local storage. Upon expiry of the included 3 month free trial, you must subscribe to an Arlo Smart plan to continue receiving Cloud recording benefits (30 days rolling) and access to our Smart Analytics features for filtering unwanted notifications and rich information on event of interest (person, vehicle, package, etc.), along with Cloud activity zones.

To protect your privacy, videos recorded during the trial will be deleted should you choose to not continue with a subscription after the trial expires.
