Homekit Secure Video

Will this new camera get support for Homekit Secure video? Or will any Arlo cameras get support for Homekit Secure Video? Also, why is Arlo blocking HomeKit image notifications that I get when the camera detects motion? I understand Arlo has this image notifications feature on their payed plan, but it seems ridiculous that Arlo would try to block something that's part of Homekit.

Hi.. We don't have plans to support HomeKit Secure video at this moment, but please check back on Arlo.com to stay updated for any future announcements.

 

Thank you for feedback on the issue you are experiencing. We are tracking this as a bug that will be fixed as soon as possible. You can consider turning on local storage in the meantime as a temporary mitigation.
