Hi guys

needing some help please, I’ve got a set of 3 essential cameras, with spotlight, they’ve not been used for 6 months or so, they had been fully charged and connected and worked perfect today, the app told me I needed to upgrade the app, and now nothing works, I’m hoping these cameras are still supported

I’m not sure why but everything connected the following day

Can you clarify?

Are the cameras showing off-line in the app?

If not, 

  1. are you having problems livestreaming?
  2. are you getting motion notifications

It is important to get the model correct, as most users reporting similar symptoms are using different cameras - Pro, Pro 2, the original Arlo WireFree.

 

The Essential is sealed, so the housing cannot be opened (unlike the other models listed above).  There should be a faint VMCxxxx label on the camera body (or on the rubber seal at the charging port).
