I have a VMB5000 hub, 2 Arlo Pro 1st Gen and 2 Essential 1st Gen. No payed subscription.

Until 2026/02/18 the Essentials recorded (for years!) to the SD-card in the hub.

Since that day they suddenly stopped recording. Both Pro’s stil do.

I can use live view on all 4 cameras.

I can still see the recordings made from both Pro’s, in the Arlo cloud as well as on the (SD-card in) the hub.

Camera’s are connected to the hub.

Essential recording on the hub worked fine for years, but suddenly  stopped 2026/02/19

Don’t want payed subscription.

Restarting  hub didn’t solve the problem

The Pro cameras have 7-day free cloud storage.  Are you sure you are seeing local recordings for those cameras?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app next.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app seem to have done the job.
