Arlo app not working properly

I have not had any meaningful notifications since Saturday 3/7/26, all I receive is “motion detected”, but no caption or anything. Mind you I pay for Premium + Professional Monitoring as well. 

 

Every time I try to make changes to the type of notifications I get (Settings> Locations and Plans> Arlo Intelligence> Smart, Person, Vehicle Recognition, Custom Caption, Event Caption) the App goes blank and does not let me even try to select anything. 

 

I have logged in and out of the app (created another issue of trying to get in since it didn’t recognize my device, the only device i’ve had in the past 3-4 years which far exceeds how long i’ve had this system)

 

Even after logging in the same problem persists

    I uninstalled 3 times and nothing, for whatever reason it finally started to work late last night. Thank you for trying to help!

Are you perhaps using a friend account?

 

Are you seeing the same issue when using a PC (my.arlo.com)?

I am not using a friend account. I also don’t use a PC for this app as it defeats the purpose of having it readily available to look at moments notice when a notification comes through. The app hasn’t worked since last Saturday (3/7), since then all notifications I get are just motion detections, I just don’t understand why all of a sudden I get locked out of trying to change my notification settings (see OP, blank pictures).

I realize that you don't normally do this, but it would be good to know if you see the same issues when using my.arlo.com on a PC.

 

I also suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone,
