Arlo Essential Camera recorded bright white light

At 5:16 am, 5:17am and 5:18 am the camera recognized an animal it states. But the only thing we seen was a bright white distorted light. What could have caused it to record like that? It recorded 3 separate videos of this same distortion. 

The camera is fine now viewing live. Recored fine at 8pm and has been fine in the past.

Is your camera set to use low-light color at night?  Or is it using infrared (Nightvision)?

This looks like lens flare (caused by something small very close to the camera spotlight)

Or a bright light aimed right at the camera. That could be car headlights (maybe later in the video or a separate video just before or after those 3 recordings) or someone pointing a laser pointer at the camera.
