Arlo Essential 3rd Generation Camera

I bought an Arlo Essentials 3rd Generation Kit of 4 camera's -- what do I need to do to make them magnetic, so that I can easily get them down to charge.  I'm an old lady that needs it explained like you would a 5th grader.  I have 3 older Arlo camera's that have magnetic mounts and love them, but it is time to upgrade to newer, and these new cameras won't stick to the older mounts!!  Please help!!

Unfortunately you cannot, so you will have to replace the magnetic mounts you have up now.

The Essential mount is a bit stiff, but you can just slide the cameras up to remove them from the wall plate  - just make sure you pay attention to the "UP" arrow on the wall plate when you install it. 

Also make sure there is enough clearance over the wall plate to let you slide the camera on and off.

That still doesn't answer my question -- so simplify it some more, please.

So, after I remove the mounts that attached from the factory, what mounts do I buy so that they will magnetize to the new ones that I am going to have to buy?  Tell me the name of the bracket that will attach to the camera to make it stick to the new magnetic wall plate, please!

I did not mean to imply that you could purchase new magnetic mounts from Arlo.  I was trying to say that there is no way to use ANY Arlo magnetic mount with Essential cameras.  

There might be some third party products that you could purchase - but I've not used them myself, so can't make any recommendation.

Thanks for your help!  It is very disappointing that Arlo has chosen this route -- they suck you in with not having to pay for a service, then make you pay for a service....now I find out that you can't magnetize the essential camera!!  So frustrating!  I wish I wouldn't have bought new doorbell cameras 2 months ago; as well as signed up for a years worth of service -- because I would be switching to another brand of camera right now finding out this!

So, let me ask you this -- if I bought Pro 6th Gen. camera's -- what do I need to buy?  Do I need to buy the magnetic mounts & something to go on the camera to make the attach to the magnet?  Thanks again for your help!

Just to be clear on this - I do not work for Arlo or represent them in any way.  

The Pro 6 is here (though you can purchase it from other places):

Make sure you don't get the XL model - that will not work with the magnetic mounts. 

I don't know what cameras you are replacing, so I don't know what mount you've already installed.  But if your current mount looks like this, it will NOT work.

Yes, my current magnets look like the ball, so I will need to get the new style.  I will get things ordered tomorrow.
