Are Essential 3 Compatible with SmartHubs

Are the new Essentials 3 camera compatible with the VMB5000 Smsrt Hub?  There seems to be conflicting information out there.

This says they are:

Note the pan tilt zoom cameras are not currently on this list.

Thank for the quick reply.  Is this article US specific, I’m based in Europe and the compatibility list on the product page doesn’t list Essential 3.

This page says "Essential cameras" but doesn't list specific essential models.

Not quite the same as the US text, which does list all three essential generations.

Both have an error, as the Pan Tilt cameras are all sold as Gen 3, but are not compatible with smarthubs at the present time.

One other aspect is that many times Arlo restricts camera installation to specific regions.  But they are selling the all gen 3 cameras in Switzerland at least.  Still, some models might not be available if you are using Verisure.

The compatibility list mentioned above should be accurate based on region/availability.

As mentioned, Pan & Tilt cameras are not base station compatible. I encourage you to reach out to EU support directly to clarify any questions/concerns with compatibility in that region.

Is there an easy way to contact the EU team, I’ve tried the chatbot which provides the US articles listed above and not received a call back after waiting on the live help line?  Is there no email address to pose questions?
