Just started getting "Privacy Enabled" and "Go Live" in Arlo Secure for my Arlo Essential Pan Tilt Security Camera view for the camera. If I click on "Go Live" it then wants me to enter my Arlo password to live stream. This just started and none of my other cameras do this.

What changed and how do I turn this off. Who wants to enter a password every time they want to live stream a camera?

Can you help with this?

Others have also requested that this behavior be changed (and I agree it should be changed).

You are getting the prompt because the camera is not armed in the mode you are using.  You can avoid the prompt by keeping the camera armed.

Mine has stopped asking for the password when I access it from the Dashboard. However, when I go to Devices, I still have enter the password. I really have no idea why.

Not to mention that mine still says 'privacy enable'.

Business as usual as they say (!)

Just checked some indoor devices again with app version 6.23.  The behavior isn't  consistent - sometimes it asks for the password, other times not.  This is happening from both the dashboard and devices screens.

So yeah, business as usual

That's interesting @StephenB

More recently (= after the app update two updates ago or so), mine has never asked for the password on the dashboard, but always on devices. I;m on Android, though if I remember well, you're on Apple?

Wouldn't it be more time efficient if issues were *properly* addressed in the first place? They'd be able to address other issues in a much more timely way.

But, maybe I don't understand what all this is about.

Yes.  I also have face-id enabled.  That might be a factor.  I'll check using Edge when I get around to it.

I also think my tracking has stopped working after the couple of updates ago/latest firmware update. Certainly in the dashboard mode.

Since you had me delete this camera and re-add it to my account (for the not being able to share this camera problem}, it wants me to enter my password to view it now.

How can I stop having to enter my password everytime I want to view it?

At this time there is not a way to change that setting. I have however added it to the feature request previously. Once there is any updates regarding this I will let you and the community know.

You shouldn't be seeing this if the camera is armed.  So check for that.

It's set to Arm Home and I'm seeing it.

Mine still says 'Privacy Enable' and I don't see the icon the plug, and now it's stopped auto-tracking, too.

Indoor cameras (like the VMC3073) are disamed by default in Arm Home.

So go into the mode settings, and make sure there is a rule set for the camera there.
