Cameras turn ON and OFF by themselves. Connect for a few seconds then revert back to video from hours before. Sometimes when I try to get live feedon some cameras, I am askedfor password to open privacy shield. Weird stuff.

I should have mentioned that it seems fine early in morning but gets worse as day progresses.

I am starting to think it's possibly the modem. Older 3.0 model.

Do you mean the VMB3xxx arlo hub? (There are a couple of variants). The PT cameras aren't compatible with any Arlo hub, so they must be connected directly to your home wifi.
The app will ask for the password when you livestream the camera while it is disarmed - not sure why they do that, but it is intentional behavior. What isn't clear is how your camera got disarmed.
Do you have any schedule automations or geofence automations set up?

They do not go to hub. They are linked directly to the modem/router. Always workd fine until about 3 days ago. I have only one PT camera.Th eothers are Essential, gen.2, also linked to modem. Only one Essential camera works fine 100% of the time.5 others are same as the PT cam. No automations setup.

Have you tried swapping some of the essential cameras, and see if the problem with them moves with the camera (or stays with the location)?
It would also be useful to measure the wifi speed at the camera locations with your phone. You can do that with the Ookla or Cloudflare speedtest apps. Upload speed and packet loss are more important than download speeds (as the cameras are uploading their video).
