won’t record without a paid subscription

I bought this one and it won’t record without a paid subscription. My 2 older ones do. If not it’s trash.

All currently sold Arlo cameras require a subscription for cloud storage.  Arlo began phasing out free storage on new camera models back in 2018 (starting with the Ultra).

I have the older Arlo Pro models and I have never had a subscription and when I changed the battery one of the 5 is asking for a paid subscription.  Why are all the rest working except this one?

Does that one camera have any activity zones defined? If so, try removing them as they are a paid subscription feature. Otherwise, try removing that one camera from your account and add it back as if new to see if that clears the issue.
