Winter freeze

My 2K cam goes offline at about 35 degrees.  I think it is freezing up and cant maintain wi-fi.

It is wireless but I have it plugged to a (phone) charger.  works good.

It is mounted under the eave so it's dry.  What can I do to keep it working all winter?

Charging will stop when at freezing temps but operation should continue until -5F/-20C. It may be that the battery is dead in spite of being plugged in or that the camera is faulty. If you unplug the charger does the camera operate?

I had the charger plugged in all last summer and all was normal until 

last video Nov 26th.  In the video my thermometer reads 40.  

The battery was at 96-99% 24-7 the entire time.

I can't unplug I'm 100 miles away right now.  And I have to remotely attempt to

reconnect the wifi.  I'll upload the video if I can.
