This camera is supposed to be outdoor and weather resistant, but the literature inside the box says to "avoid getting the device wet". Why does it say that when it is an outdoor camera, which of course, is going to get wet from the weather. I am confused. Can anyone help?
Thank you.

Mistywoofy,
While the cameras are weather resistant, it is not advised to allow the camera to become submerged and to avoid conditions in which the internal components or batteries might become wet. Arlo outdoor cameras are designed for typical outdoor conditions (including rain, fog, snow, etc.).
