I have base station VMB4000R3 and I am having issues connecting my Arlo essential outdoor second generation camera. I follow the instructions in the Arlo app but the connection to my base stations fails on screen "searching for device in our system...".
the app hangs in this screen for a while, the camera LED blinks amber and the connection fails. I have multiple Arlo cameras and this has not been an issue. please advise.

Unfortunately, the VMB4000 base has proven to be problematic recently. However, I would suspect that this issue may be related more to an Arlo backend issue than for the base since you got past the connecting message and went on to the searching for the device in our system part. You can try rebooting your base and maybe reset the cameras before trying again:
