Hi there,

 

For years been wanting to buy an Arlo set. Because my wife is American (we live in Switzerland) we are frequently there. This summer I bit the bullet and bought at Costco the Essential Outdoor Camera kit. Before buying I reveiwed the product if there was anything / dislcaimer not being able to use the cameras in Switzerland. Nothing so I thought good to go.

 

I set-up the App, split the wifi network so that there is a separate 2.4ghz network and tried all the options. Basically the cameras do not connect to the network.

 

From reading some reviews, could you confirm if this new set is to work in Switzerland ???(even, if necessary without a subscription - I would want it, but can forgo on it if not avail) 


please help me out here, I really want to put the cameras to use !

When you "Add device" are you seeing an option for Essential Gen 2?  Or just Essential?

 

If you don't see Gen 2 cameras, then it's not available yet in your area.

Onboarding Arlo Essential 2nd generation devices is not yet available in all countries. Once these devices are available, an announcement will be made on https://www.arlo.com/en_eu/home
