Camera has suddenly started showing image upside down. There is no option within settings to change it 180 degrees. I have turned it the wrong way up and it seems to be working, wrongly. Any ideas?

The 2nd gen essentials don't have the rotate option - I believe that is because they don't want the camera fiipped, in order prevent any water penetrating the camera from pooling on the battery. (I haven't dissassembled the camera so, not 100% sure on that).
You might try removing the camera from the account, and then doing a hardware reset. Press the sync/pairing button until the LED flashes amber (about 15 sec). Then add the camera back to your account.
