Tried syncing 1 of the new Essential and it asks to upgrade

After reading all the comments about the new app, looks like we will have to return the 4 Essential 2nd gen cameras. These cameras were going to replace our 7 vmc3030 cams that are EOL. Tried syncing 1 of the new Essential and it ask to upgrade. I didn't. Been with Arlo since 2018. We need security. It offers a peace of mind because of our age. We're sad about this. We remember the old saying: " If it ain't broken, don't fix it." Boy, ain't this true...

The fact that vmc3030 are EOL doesn't mean that they'll stop working! They'll just stop receiving firmware updates, which actually happened some time ago. Arlo should own to this massive e-waste as a result of EOL. And yep, the new Arlo app is full of bugs, making this system effectively  beta.
