I’ve been a Arlo customer since 2019. I have paid for the CVR plan ever since all of a sudden today I’ll go to my cameras and I see my feed has no motion videos and it wants me to sign up for a plan. It also took me off my CVR plan I had to go to the website and put it back on.. since when do you need a plan for motion videos? I understand the CVR but why the motion videos now they want to charge me over $235 a month you can go kick rocks ARLO

Any camera newer than the Pro 2, starting with the Ultra in 2018, has needed a subscription for cloud recordings. If you have Pro 2 or older legacy cameras you don't need a sub since the free 7 day plan for 5 legacy cameras is still in effect. However, if you're using certain features such as activity zones you'll need a sub to get rid of that message (or delete whatever feature you're using).

Tell us more about your setup (camera and base models specifically) since that may be a clue. You state an Essential camera and that for sure needs a sub once the trial sub that came with the initial setup of that camera expires.
