I just put up 2 cameras but I find the app really hard to use. I thought I set them so that they did notify me every time a car goes past but no. And one camera sends me notify but no video to see what happened

QueenWanda,
How far away are the cars that you're trying to detect? It's possible they are outside the maximum detection range for the cameras (up to around 20 feet/6 meters).
You can find more information about how to optimize your camera's position for best performance here: https://kb.arlo.com/1015583
When a camera detects motion, the video will arrive in your feed after it finishes detecting motion. You can test this by triggering the camera and then navigating to feeds (There may be a slight delay before it arrives as detection needs to finish and the video needs to be uploaded to the cloud). If you're not seeing the video, check to make sure you don't have a filter active in your feed. You can find more information on how to manage your feed filter here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062807/How-do-I-filter-events-and-video-recordings-in-my-Arlo-Feed

QueenWanda,
If you're wanting to limit the vehicle notifications, but still get the events in your feed, try adjusting the smart notifications using these instructions: https://kb.arlo.com/000062927/What-are-Arlo-Smart-Notifications-and-how-do-I-set-them-up-Arlo-Secure...
If you want to eliminate the notifications and the events in feeds, you might want to consider creating an activity zone eliminating the street from the cameras detection area. For more information on how to do this, see here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062938/What-are-Arlo-Activity-Zones-and-how-do-I-create-them-Arlo-Secure-4-0

Another solution is to rotate the camera so the street isn't in view. Point it at only the specific area of interest (front walk leading to the door and the door itself, if possible). Trying to get a large view is frequently not all that useful.
