Nightvision concern

I have a problem since I actually bought my indoor essential 2k cameras.  If you take one of the bugs. It is that nightvision works well in the settings. But out of the menu it's very dark. And the 2k text is only left a minute or so after doing one of all the factory resets. Then it also disappears. So nightvision actually works, but only in the settings. (!?) Anyone else having that problem?
