I have a complete Arlo solution for my outdoors and indoor property. Love these things. However, since adding the new 2nd Gen cameras I was forced to update the Arlo App. Which is where me and the Mrs. disappointment started. 
I usually like App updates, however, with all the changes we somehow lost the ability to simply disarm a camera easily. 

When I know the wife and I are going to spend some time on the back deck for instance. I used to simply go in to Arlo App and disarm that camera. Took about 2 seconds. 

Now.,….I have no idea. I just disarm my entire property since there doesn’t seem to be an easy way. 

Why Arlo? Help me understand. 

Fix it please.

There have been many complaints on here and elsewhere how user unfriendly the new interface is.

Just go into the camera settings for the deck camera, and turn the camera off.  Then turn it on again when you back inside.

 

The only differences between disarm and off are

  • the camera needs to be turned on again to livestream
  • the camera remains off until you turn it on again (while a disarmed camera will re-arm on a schedule or geofencing).

The new app is awful. I miss seeing my recorded videos in a logical format. They were easy to view. Now there are rows of single videos. Scrolling through the videos is brutal.

 

This is not an upgrade but an attempt to sell more service.

I just upgraded to tfw new app because I had to

and I hate it too! I have 3 accounts with cameras on different properties and can’t view them all on same log

in like before. I’ve tried resharing and everything else but nothing works

If rhis can’t be resolved I am going to a POI system

I just did the same thing. Now I can’t see my 93 year old disabled father and another property we ow.  This is gonna cause us to cancel 3 subscriptions and find something else. This interface is so idiotic and not streamlined at all. Arlo you are going backwards.

The fastest thing to do is to make sure all 3 accounts are using the same interface. It sounds like you migrated to the new one that uses Feed to view recordings so you also need to do the same thing for the other 2. At that point you can then view all shared devices with your login. You'll need to click on Home at the top and choose the appropriate Home listed there since each account gets a default Home location. The middle and bottom ones are for the other locations so I would suggest renaming Home for those accounts to make it obvious which one to choose.
