How long does it take to charge the battery on the 2nd gen doorbell camera? It is very inconvenient and potentially dangerous to have to remove the doorbell to bring it indoors to charge. Meanwhile the front door is left unmonitored. BTW: I cannot wire the doorbell that's why I purchased the wire-free doorbell.

It's been a while but I suspect the recharge time is on the order of 6 hours (+/-). There are plug-in transformers you can use instead of the typical house wiring and transformer if you want to trickle charge the battery.
