I have had 2 Arlo Qs for years without a subscription. I recently added an Essential XL outdoor camera to a 2nd location (vacation home) once the free trial was over with I can no longer see the video clips on the new camera.  I do receive notices that movement has been detected.  when logging into arlo.com I cannot see the new camera.

A second location also requires a second subscription. The Q cameras continue to have the free 7 day plan while the new camera is going to need at least a single camera plan for cloud recordings.

AS @jguerdat says, you need a subscription to get cloud recordings from the Essential.

But you should be able to see the camera on the devices page at my.arlo.com.  If you set up a second location, the  you do need to select the location using the pulldown at the top center of the page.

This is also the case with the "Feed" page - even with a subscription, you can only see the devices and recordings from the location you select.
