Hello !!

I'm trying to setup my new Arlo Essential Outdoor 2nd Gen but it's not possible.
I've already tried with Android Phone, iPad, moving forward, moving back, with all brightness, etc.

What can I do to fix this issue? I don't want to return to Amazon yet.

What model camera do you have? You can find the model information on the bottom of the box (starts with VMCXXXX). When onboarding, be sure you're selecting the the correct essential onboarding flow (you must select Gen 1 if you have a Gen 1 device and Gen 2 if you have a Gen 2 device). Arlo Essential 2nd Generation cameras do not use a QR code to install. If you have an Are Essential Gen 1 device and you're having an issue with the camera reading the QR code, try fully charging the camera and then factory reset the device and try again. My model is VMC3250-100NAS

As I said before, I have Essential Outdoor 2nd Gen cameras.

Could you tell me what is the setup process and add my devices please?

In the Arlo mobile app after tapping the "+" icon to add a device and selecting Essential Series. Do you see an option to select Essential Cameras (2nd Generation)? The selection must show the 2nd generation tag to proceed successfully.

 

You may be in a region where the cameras are not supported if you do not see this option. Where are you located?

I don't have that option.

 

When I choose Cameras I get this:

I've checked your account and it appears you are located in Colombia. 

 

Essential 2 cameras are not supported in Colombia, this is why the installation option is not available.

Is there a solution for that? I mean, Won't I be able to use my cameras even with a subscription?

Arlo Essential 2nd Generation cameras cannot be onboarded in Colombia until they are launched in that region. We expect that to happen sometime next year but I do not have a specific date at this time.

Hi:

 

i purchased a couple of 2nd gen essential cameras. I acquired in US , but i’m trying to setup in mexico (because i am live in the mexican border side). So, the question is, could i set it up in US and then install them in mexico? Exist this option ?

That should work as long as your account is also set up in the US. For a subscription after the trial has expired, you'll need to use a US credit card.

 a Nigerian, but bought my 3 sets Camera subject refer from COSTCO USA, to be installeed in Nigeria. Right now I cant configure the Camera because it can't dispay on + (add) onboarding. Also when I try to login to my account through my laptop, it will not transmit Verification Code to my email to enable me access my account therefrom. Can you please give me  the NEW ARLO APP LINK  to enable me Install and Configure?
