We have an essential Outdoor camera. Can I pair it to my phone with my account? Or do I need to use the account it was registered with?

That's the language Arlo used as they wouldn't let me contact someone in support. My cousin created the account and isn't sure how to add me so I started looking online. The camera is a smidge high and using the button on top isn't a great idea as I don't like ladders. So I wanted to ask Support about do I need her account or can I create one and how would i get access to the camera

Is this your cousin's camera? Or was it purchased as a gift to you?
Does your cousin have any other Arlo devices in the account?
Options are to
- change the email (username) for the account to you, and also update the payment method and change the password
- share the camera using the friend account feature
- remove the camera from your cousin's account, and add it to your account. (You will lose the trial subscription if you do this).
We can help with all three possibilities, but it'd be good to get a bit more info so we can sort out the best path.
