Hi Folks
Does Essential 2ng Gen outdoor support Homekit? I picked up a bunch of Essential 2ng Gen from Costco. Currently have a couple of Pro4 and works great with HomeKit.

No. Hopefully that will be added, but it is not supported today.

I am patiently waiting for HomeKit support on my essential Gen2 cameras. I keep reading remarks that it’s coming, but nothing else. Would love to see it actually happen and better communication from Arlo on this.

There are multiple pages on the Arlo website that say that the camera is supported on HomeKit, namely:

I just bought cameras and a smart hub just because of these websites. I will have to return them because of this error on Arlo's end.

No, they don't. You are confusing the original Essentials with the Essential Gen 2 models.
An understandable mistake to be sure. FWIW, I think it would have been better if Arlo had launched Gen 2 cameras worldwide with homekit, base station support.
