Hello
I have my Essential 2K camera mounted to the side of my house (outdoor) and it is plugged in via USB C.
On the Arlo app and Arlo web portal it shows that the camera is plugged in via the green lightning bolt.
I started paying for CVR recording and even though it's plugged in to AC power I keep getting this message "CVR is currently disabled."
Please help as I'm paying for this!
Thanks

Can you try logging out of the account and logging back in. If that still has the same behavior can you uninstall and reinstall the app? Can you also unplug the camera and make sure the plug is free from debris and then plug it back in.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried those steps.
Weirdly enough despite the warnings saying that CVR is disabled it actually works even whilst the warnings are there.
The camera isn't showing the green lighting bolt though and the USB C cable is brand new and works so I doubt it's that.

You could try to reset the camera and see if that error goes away:

I have tried that but no luck.
I also tried contacting the Arlo UK support email 3-4 times with NO answer.
My camera is now showing the green charging symbol but then it dissapears when the battery level drops and the only way to get it back is by unplugging the cable and replugging it in to AC power.
Please help. This camera is seriously faulty and all I want is a replacement but I can't speak to anyone at Arlo UK!!

Can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. That way I can have support look into this further. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.
