I am trying to install on My wife's phone, Android Samsung Galaxy S20, but it will not zoom in sufficient to scan the very small QR code on the Chime 2 unit. Am I not using the best method . I sent her an invite from mine but she cannot complete due to the scan problem. Even my S24 took a few tries.

If the camera and chime are installed in your account, then they cannot be added to hers. Consider having her use your account credentials on her phone. Then she will have the same controls that you have.
