I live in an apt and have 2 cameras on the outside patio. Yes heavy traffic so there’s a lot of video. Only been here 2 months. At first I’d charge cameras every wed they would be fine. Now if I charge them one of them does not work, showing a red light. Other camera only last 2 days and the camera dies. Anyone else has an issue with the wireless cameras dying fast?

I suggest contacting support on this one. Use the app, as googling for a phone number generally leads to a scam support site. If you don't have a subscription, post back as the mods can create support tickets on your behalf.

I find my own battery drain does vary with the season and weather. More wind than usual can certainly increase the amount of detection. As the sun shifts seasonally, I get different shadows from nearby trees in the field of view, which also change the amount of motion detection. Cold temperatures can also affect battery performance
You might try putting the camera indoors as a test, and see if the battery performance improves.

I suggest thinking about alternative camera positions. For instance if the cameras are aimed directly away from the apartment, you might try aiming them across the patio instead. Sometimes aiming the camera more downwards can help, as the cameras are more sensitive to motion at the bottom of the field of view than the top.
If you have power outdoors, you could also get the outdoor chargers and plug the cameras in. Solar panels might also help, though several posters here have been disappointed by them.
