my Essential Cameras gen 2 are connected to my smarthub (VMB4540). The smarthub appears on the homekit as bridge. Yet the cameras and my doorbell do not appear on HomeKit. Can you help me ?

Gen 2 cameras and doorbells do not support homekit yet.

2nd generation cameras are not yet compatible with Apple Home. While the certification process is underway for these devices, I do not have a date for when this integration will be complete.
The article you're referring to above incorrectly links to 2nd generation devices. I've asked for this to be corrected.
