My iPad app badge number won't clear, but on my iPhone, it does—the latest updates for the app on iOS 17.6.1.

agaribay1,

If you log out of the Arlo app on the ipad and then log back in, does that resolve the issue?

Yes, but I hope I don't have to log out every time from my iPad or iPhone, depending on which one I check first for the alert. I will keep you posted.

The issue continues. If I view it on my iPad or iPhone, whichever I view first, the app has a number of alerts. The only way to remove it is by logging off, or if a new alert comes through, then it resets after I have viewed the app on either device.

The feed badge issue is back. It’s (again) not clearing on my devices.

This was an issue several months ago that was finally resolved, but it appears to have resurfaced.

Specs: iPhone 15 Pro iOS 17.6.1

               Arlo app 5.0.2 (8417)

I am having a similar problem. After an event occurs, the badge count appears on the Arlo icon on both my iPad and iPhone.  If I review the Feed log on the iPad, the badge count disappears on the iPad.  The badge count continues to display on the iPhone but there are no new Feed log entries and will not go away until I log off the app. Similarly, if I see the log entry on the iPhone first, I must log off the iPad to remove the badge counter.

I checked on another family member's app and when I viewed the Feed log, the badge counter disappeared. Since I am using the same credentials on both devices, is this the reason that the badge counter won't reset on the 2nd device and I need to log off the device to reset the badge counter?
