I have an existing Arlo hub with 4 cameras it works well.

I have just purchased an Essential Outdoor camera. Can I use the new camera seperately from the existing system.

You can set it up in a different account, or add it to your existing account (connecting it with WiFi instead of the hub if you like). 

 

Do you see "Library" in your app menu?  Or do you instead see "Feed" and "Dashboard"?

 

Did you purchase the Gen 2 camera?
