deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't affect your set up, as that is all in the Arlo cloud.

Did you try just restarting the phone?

thank you, I did, and I still have the stand by mode crossed out with a line?

I have tried to find the mode setting on my laptop and on my phone, It used to be there, but with the update app, I can't find it any longer , and when i talk to a robot, it said to go to mode, and turn off stand by, and disarm all devices, but can't find mode. I am ususally very good at finding and fixing, and learning how this stuff works, but, since i updated and that first thing i see is "add a widget', which I dont want to see or add, nothing is the same.

I am thinking that the calendar doesn't move to current month or date till it knows something is there, bc two of my cameras keep going off line, and then when they finally come back on, i can't get the calendar to move to current date.

I know I am yakking at you a lot, forgive me, but since you answer my question, I figure you know what to do and how to do it. thank you for all your help.

Maybe try accessing phone support in the app.  It's available between 6 am and 6 pm US pacific time.

You select the mode on the dashboard screen.  There are only three - Arm Away, Arm Home, and Standby.  The mode that is active is the one in color.

You can edit what those modes do by going to the "Routines" page.

You might try adding a widget on the dashboard screen.  It will just add a camera, so you can access from there instead of moving to the Devices screen.
