Is it possible to always have the privacy shield open? Can you set that up?

The Privacy Shield automatically covers the camera lens when the camera is disarmed, and opens when the camera is armed. For more information, take a look here: How do I use the privacy shield on my Arlo Essential Indoor Camera?

Okay, But can I set the shield to always be open? Unless the camera is completely off?

Just leave the camera armed all the time.

Or set the rule for the camera to Do Nothing as an action after detection.
