My subscriptions have ended and I am using local usb storage. The cameras are recording normally but when accessing the recordings via Arlo app on my phone, they sometimes stop updating and become unable to show the most recent recordings. I’ve plugged the usb storage into my computer and could see all the recent recordings so Im sure its the app’s problem. I had to reinstall the app and then the library may start updating again. But the issue would reoccur again within a day.
The smart hub is connected to my second router, which is connected to primary router that connects to the modem. I have set port forwarding (80, 443) on both routers and the port forwarding status in the app shows “available” so should be working.
Is this a bug in the app? If so would the system developer please look into it and rectify because this is just absurd. Ive used some much cheaper ip cameras before and had no such issue.

You shouldn't need to forward 80 and 443 to the smarthub, and I recommend removing those rules.

The forwarded ports in the app should be different, and you do need to forward those if you want remote access to the recordings.  Getting access when you are on your home network shouldn't require any forwarding.

FWIW, I also double-route and do not forward any ports to my various base stations.
