CVR On/Off or Pause

I have a CVR subscription for my two Arlo Essential Indoor cameras. Is there a way to turn "off" the CVR from time to time? I want to be able to turn it off when I am in the room. I searched for this topic and the last time I see it discussed is 2016. thank you.

No, it's on all the time. I suppose turning the camera off in the camera settings might accomplish this but haven't tried it.
