I just purchased the Arlo Essential Indoor Camera and it keeps going offline. Very frustrating. It is not a wifi issue, the camera is next to the router. I realize that it keeps showing firmware update but it’s been 24 hours. Have tried to restart device multiple times. Unplugged and plugged. Is it an issue with the camera?

Could be a bad camera but first move the camera away from the router - too strong a signal can cause issues. You may want to try a reset:
